Hello,

There is a bug in Wireless Tools 29 which affects the scanning for wireless
networks.

If sudo iwlist <interface> scan is run in an area with too many wireless
networks, the printing of the results fails with an error message
print_scanning_info: Allocation failed.
As a result network-manager, wicd and other such programs are unable to
detect and connect to any network that is not already saved.

I found a working patch for this issue on Arch Linux bug list (
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/15363). I tested it and it works fine.

I followed the patch submission guideline and generated a new patch file as
per that. I think this should be a recommended patch since it fixes a major
issue with the functionality. I checked the wireless tools 30 beta release
code and they have applied this patch there as well, so it won't be needed
when the stable release is done.

Please let me know if something needs to be changed in the patch.

Thank you,
Munir
